CLEAN UP TIOGA/TOGETHER “CUT” CAMPAIGN

  • UNNA Underpass Revitalization Project

  • UNNA Green Space Initiative

  • UNNA Block Captains Network

  • Providing cleanup rewards to blocks who participate (i.e., tshirts, clean signs, etc.)

  • Organize, promote and conduct monthly neighborhood wide cleanups (Mar-Nov)-Cleanups rotate throughout community with rotating rally points for supply pickup to engage more neighbors and promote engagement

  • Identify key dumping areas and use 3 tier process for reporting (multiple 311 reporting, local trash advisor, strategic placement of dumping signs)

  • Other targeted beautification initiatives

UNNA NURTURING & IMPACTING THE YOUTH (U.N.I.T.Y.)

  • Sponsor neighborhood activities for youth during the summer i.e., camp, sports teams

  • Engage youth throughout the neighborhood to flyer blocks close to their home for cleanups and monthly meetings

  • Engage youth to operate social media

  • Engage youth to create cleanup signs and get them involved with the setup procedures during organized cleanups

  • Engage successful entrepreneurs from the community to share their background and story of success with local youth.  These interactive experiences will be designed to put local youth in front of successful people and engage in an activity where they learn something
