We are proud to announce that we are building a community green space in our neighborhood. Stay tuned for regulary updates as we move through the building process. Get involved as we plan and build our own community green space. Using the "Park in a Truck (PIAT)" template we will choose the design of our park space and there will be many opprtunities for you te get hands on. We will be hosting a series of community meetings to get community ffedback on what they want to see and do in the space.

The erection of this park space serves many needs and has many benefits to nearby neighbors who will use it. It is also the community's first major step in a grassroots effort to revitalize the 17th buisness corridor in our ward.

The PIAT design has four templates with varying themes to choose from helping us to craft the park we want to see. We will also be teaching and employing youth ambassadors who will maintain the park space once it is built.
I encourage you to join us during this process for a meeting, park building activity or hands on event. Please take the time to look through the information, share it and give your feedback using the survey link or QR code.
